Recycling @ the Battery Broker
The Battery Broker Environmental Services Inc. will provide the packing, handling, pickup, transportation and recycling services for all types of waste batteries. The Battery Broker Environmental Services Inc. will also provide the manpower, equipment, material, facilities and any other merchandise and services needed to perform this work safely and efficiently.
The waste batteries will be picked up at your site, once every three months as per regulations. The Battery Broker Environmental Services Inc. will meet all of its obligations, so that the company's representative can approve the invoices when due.
The preparation, pickup, transportation, storage, and recycling of subject waste, will be in accordance with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act, The Canadian Environmental Protection Act, and Ontario Environmental Protection Act. The related regulations and amendments, in particular Regulation 347, as well as any other applicable laws and Government Regulations in effect.
All manifests and other similar documents required under the applicable laws and Government regulations, are the responsibility of the generator, however, The Battery Broker Environmental Services Inc., will assist the generator the proper completion of these documents to remain in accordance with those laws and regulations.
The subject waste to be recycled is picked up at the customer's site location by The Battery Broker's licensed transporter. The Battery Broker Environmental Services Inc. will ensure that all materials are adequately packed and identified at all times through out the duration of processing in accordance with the Regulation 347. All related bills and amendments (TDG Act, Canadian Environmental Protection Act, Ontario Environmental Protection Act, as well as any other applicable laws & Government regulations in effect).
Only the identification required by regulation may appear on the packaging of hazardous waste.
Following the pickup and upon receipt by the recyclers, The Battery Broker Environmental Services Inc. will provide a waste recycling certificate, showing the means of processing, name and address of the company ensuring final elimination and the date of recycling (letter of reclamation), will be prepared and sent to you.
The receipt, classification, storage and recycling of the hazardous waste, will be carried out in the interior of The Battery Broker Environmental Services Inc.'s transfer station.
Where subject waste is transferred for transport to a receiving facility, liabilities and responsibilities associated with the waste material becomes the ownership of the transfer station upon receipt and acceptance at The Battery Broker, via MOE manifest documentation.
The Battery Broker Environmental Services Inc. assures that all wastes will be handled by our fully trained technicians in compliance with Regulations 309/347 and the TDG Act and it's related bills and amendments under our Certificates of Approval issued by the Ministry of Environment.
